What we do

One Orlando-based operator covering the delivery work a public contract usually splits between a courier, a freight carrier and a storage provider.

  • Same-day courier: Collection and delivery across Central Florida — the counties within about two hours of our Orlando base.
  • Scheduled and routed delivery: Fixed-schedule runs, interoffice and facility-to-facility shuttles, and dedicated routes with a named driver, statewide.
  • Freight: Palletized and oversized loads in vans, box trucks and straight trucks across Florida.
  • Records and specimen work: Deliveries that need chain-of-custody documentation, countersigned at each handoff.
  • Storage: Secured space at our Orlando base, climate-controlled and dry, for goods held overnight, day to day or longer.
  • Pick and pack: Orders picked, packed and shipped out of stock we are already holding for you.
  • Multi-site distribution: One delivery program covering several departments, facilities or sites on fixed days.
  • Fleet outsourcing: We run the delivery operation end to end, so a department does not carry vehicles, drivers or insurance of its own.

Coverage & fleet

One Orlando base, statewide reach.

Everything runs out of 6100 Lake Ellenor Dr in Orlando. That is what sets the line on this page: Central Florida is same-day because a driver can get there and back inside the day, and the rest of Florida is scheduled or routed work.

  • Same-day: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Polk out to Volusia, Brevard, Marion and Hillsborough — the counties inside roughly two hours of Orlando.
  • Statewide: Scheduled, dedicated-route and freight work to the rest of Florida, including Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Naples and South Florida.
  • Vehicles: Car, SUV, pickup, cargo van, sprinter and straight truck — the vehicle is matched to the load, not the other way round.
  • Drivers: A named driver and vehicle assigned to a contracted route, with backup coverage arranged for absences.

Coverage county by county is listed on our service areas pages, which state per county whether same-day is offered or the work is scheduled.

Service levels

What we commit to

Deliberately short. These are the commitments that hold on every job, not a list of aspirations — an SLA written into a contract is agreed with operations against your actual schedule.

Same-day where it is real

Same-day is offered for Central Florida only. Outside about two hours from Orlando the work is scheduled, and we say so rather than promising a window a driver cannot make.

Live tracking on every job

Every booking produces a live tracking link you can forward to the requesting department, showing status from collection through to delivery.

Proof of delivery on every job

A photograph and a signature at the drop, attached to the job record and emailed to you — so a disputed delivery is settled from the record.

Compliance & accountability

How a job is evidenced

Public work has to be auditable after the fact, usually by somebody who was not there. Everything below is produced by the job itself rather than assembled afterwards.

  • Chain of custody: Countersigned documentation at each handoff, attached to the job record. Add it to any booking where the material requires it.
  • PO and cost center: Your purchase order, reference and cost center are entered at booking and carry through to dispatch and the invoice.
  • Discreet tracking: Tracking requires the booking email as well as the number, so a delivery address is not exposed by guessing a tracking number.
  • USDOT registered: We operate as a USDOT-registered motor carrier; the number is supplied on request.
  • Insurance: Cover is in force for goods in transit and for goods stored at our Orlando facility. Ask for a certificate of insurance and we will request one from our carrier, naming your agency as certificate holder.
  • No card data on this site: The website takes no payment, so a booking raised by your staff involves no card details and no payment page.

Storage & fulfillment

Stored here, picked and packed.

A delivery contract often needs somewhere for the goods to sit first. We have secured storage at our Orlando base, climate-controlled and dry, and our insurance covers goods stored on the premises rather than only goods in transit.

  • Overnight to long term: Goods can be held overnight, day to day or for longer — this is storage, not a same-day cross-dock only.
  • Climate-controlled or dry: Both are available; which one a consignment needs is agreed before it arrives.
  • Pick and pack: We open cartons, pick orders, pack them and ship them out — so a program can be stocked here and fulfilled from here.
  • Covered in storage: Our insurance covers goods stored on the premises, not only goods in transit.

Capacity is quoted against what you actually need to hold. Tell operations the volume and the dwell time and it is priced with the delivery work rather than separately. The full offer is on our 3PL warehousing and fulfillment page.

Registrations & documents

Paperwork, on request

We are registered to bid on government work. Registration details and our W-9 are sent by email on request, so your team can verify the registration in the register itself rather than taking a number off a web page.

  • Capability statement: Services, coverage, fleet and registration details, put together for your solicitation and sent by email.
  • W-9: Signed and returned by email, with the entity name and TIN your finance team needs.
  • Certificate of insurance: Requested from our carrier on your behalf, naming your agency as certificate holder.

Procurement questions

Before you shortlist us

Anything not answered here, call 407 770-3633 and you will speak to someone in Orlando who runs the routes.

Are you registered to bid on government work?+

Yes. We are registered to bid on government work, and we will send the registration details on request so you can verify them in the register itself rather than taking them from a web page.

How do we get a capability statement, a W-9 or your insurance certificates?+

Email contact@americanprimetransit.com or call 407 770-3633 and say which documents you need and the solicitation or department they are for. For insurance, ask for a certificate and we will request one from our carrier naming your agency as certificate holder.

Can you quote a solicitation with multiple delivery points?+

Yes. Send the scope, the locations and the frequency, and our operations team prices it against the schedule rather than per job. Routes, shuttles and multi-site distribution are quoted individually rather than as a string of one-off bookings.

What proof of delivery do we get?+

Every job is tracked live and closed with a photograph and a signature, attached to the job record and emailed to you. Chain-of-custody documentation, countersigned at each handoff, can be added to any booking where the material requires it.

Do you deliver outside Central Florida?+

Yes. Same-day is offered where it is genuinely deliverable — the counties within about two hours of our Orlando base — and scheduled, dedicated-route and freight work runs across the rest of Florida.

How are jobs invoiced?+

On account terms once an account is approved, with your purchase order, reference and cost center carried from the booking through to the invoice. No payment is taken on this website.
